Hey there! Do you miss the days of Swollen Toe and Lungbuster when we would meet in the mountains to cool off and play each other at altitude? Well do we have the tournament for you! We're organizing a 1-day, unsanctioned, mixed tourney in picturesque Steamboat Springs, CO called Thumber Camp. Saturday there'll be ultimate during the day and a party in town at night. Did we tell you that it's only 1 day of ultimate!? That leaves Sunday for you and your team to enjoy the area. There are plenty of opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and of course, arts and crafts. So much fun you'll be writing home to your parents about it! Yours now and always, Thumber Camp tournament committee Reach out to the tournament coordinators at alljeepsallnight@gmail.com with questions.
The tournament will be held in Steamboat Springs in the beautiful Colorado highcountry, less than 3 hours west of Denver. Set course for Yampa River Valley, stay tuned for field specifics.
Please, no glass at the fields. Snacks and water will be provided. Dog policy TBD.
Past field layout:
The nearest Forest Service campgrounds are Dry Lake and Meadows. Reservations are available, as are a handful of first-come, first serve sites. There shall be drinks. Note, please do not approach any poles you may encounter.
Please plan ahead for rides! If you're staying near town in Steamboat, you may be able to hop on the bus to get to the party. Do not count on rideshares.
After a night nestled in our bunks, join us for some fun (informal) activities on Sunday. We will discuss plans following games. Past activities have included hiking, mountain biking, yoga, and arts & crafts.
